MAGSASAKA Partylist sinuportahan plano ni PBBM Jr., na pag-angkat ng abono
Nagpahayag ng kanyang suporta ang MAGSASAKA Partylist sa plano ng administrasyong-Marcos Jr., na mag-angkat ng fertilizers sa susunod na taon para mapalakas ang produksyon ng pagkain sa bansa.
Unang inihayag ni Pangulong Marcos Jr., na libre ang mga abono na ipamamahagi sa mga magsasaka.
“This is indeed a step in the right direction towards achieving food security while supporting our farmers and fighting rising food prices during this difficult period. Fertilizers are added to crops in order to produce enough food to feed the population” ani MAGSASAKA 1st Nominee Robert Nazal.
Naniniwala si Nazal na sa ganitong paraan ay magiging ‘stable’ na ang presyo ng mga lokal na pagkain.
Nakatakda ng pumirma sa isang kasunduan si Pangulong Marcos para sa paunang importasyon ng 150,000 metriko tonelada ng abono mula sa China.
Naglaaan na ang Department of Agriculture (DA) ng P4.1 bilyon para sa naturang balakin na ikakasa sa pamamagitan ng DA at Philippine Trade and Investment Center (PTIC).
