Meralco inanunsiyo ang taas-singil ng November power consumption
Inanunsiyo ng Meralco ang pagtaas ng halaga ng isinusuplay nilang kuryente sa kanilang customers ngayon buwan.
Ang dagdag singil, ayon sa power distributor, ay dahil sa mas mataas na generation cost.
Mula sa P9.8628 per kilowatt hour ito ay magiging P9.9472 per kilowatt hour o pagtaas ng P0.844.
Nangangahulugan na ang karagdagang P17 ang babayaran ng mga maybahay na nakakakonsumo ng 200 kilowatt per hour kada buwan.
Paliwanag ng Meralco tumaas ang generation cost ng P0.0725 at ang generation charge ay 55 porsiyento ng electric bill.
Samantala, ang transmission taxes at iba pang singilin sa residential electric conumers ay tumaas ng P0.0119 per kilowatt hour.
