Ayon sa power company, inaasahang mababawasan ng P0.13 sentimos kada kilowatthour ang singil ng ngayong buwang ito.
Ito’y katumbas ng P25.00 sa buwanang kabayaran ng isang tahanan na kumukonsumo ng 200-kilowatthour bawat buwan.
Paliwanag ng Meralco, bumaba ang generation charge sa kasalukuyan na nagresulta sa pagbaba rin ng singil sa kuryente.
Bumaba rin ang bentahan ng kuryente sa Wholesale Electricity Spot Market o WESM ng P0.98 sentimos bawat kilowatthour noong nakaraang buwan.
