Nakilahok ang lokal na pamahalaan ng Quezon City sa 3rd Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill.
Ito ay bilang paghahanda sa magnitude 7.2 na lindol.
Isinagawa ang earthquake drill sa Quezon City Hall Compound.
Pinangunahan ng QC Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office ang evacuation, assessment at paghahanda para sa earthquake drill, kasama ang ilang tanggapan sa lungsod na bahagi ng Rapid Damage Analysis and Needs Assessment (RDANA) Teams.
Sinanay din ang mga kawani sa wastong pag-obserba ng ‘Duck, Cover and Hold’ at maayos na evacuation.
Nakibahagi sina QCDRRMO OIC and Secretary to the Mayor RJ Belmonte at City Administrator Michael Alimurung sa ginanap na drill.
Ang lindol ay posibleng mangyari anumang oras kaya naki-‘duck, cover, and hold’ din ang ating mga QCitizen na nasa QMC Fresh Market, mga empleyado ng G.H. Garcia Development, mga mag-aaral at guro mula sa San Francisco High School, at iba pang tanggapan at paaralan sa lungsod.
