Halos 2,000 OFWs gusto nang umuwi ng Pilipinas

Ibinahagi ni Migrant Workers Secretary Susan Ople na halos 2,000 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) ang hiniling na makabalik na ng Pilipinas.

Ayon kay Ople ang kagustuhan ng OFWs ay naiparating sa kanila sa pamamagitan ng kanilang One Repatriation Command Center.

Aniya ibat-iba ang dahilan ng OFWs, may paglabag sa kanilang kontrata, hindi napapasuweldo, may sakit at may mga inaabuso.

Sinabi pa ni Ople na marami sa mga humiling na makauwi ng bansa ay household service wokers sa Middle East.

Ibinahagi ng kalihim na itinayo niya ang One Repatriation Command Center base sa kanyang mga karanasan sa Blas F. Ople Policy Center, na takbuhan ng pamilya ng mga inaabusong OFWs.
