Siniguro ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) na may sapat na cash, food packs at non-food items para sa mga naging biktima ng pananalasa ng bagyong Florita.
Ayon kay Sec. Erwin Tulfo may 100,000 food packs at P2 million cash assistance ang paunang nailaan para sa mga biktima sa Ilocos at Cagayan Valley Regions.
Mamahagi din sila ng family kits, sleeping kits, tents, damit at hygiene kits.
Aniya mamahagi sila ng tulong-pinansiyal na hanggang P10,000 depende sa magiging ‘assessment’ ng kanilang social workers.
Sinabi nito na ang ayuda ay maaring gamitin sa pagsasa-ayos ng mga napinsalang bahay.
