Pangulong Marcos Jr., ikinukunsidera ang water resources program
Pinag-aaralan na ni Pangulong Marcos Jr., na aprubahan ang panukalang Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) Program para sa bansa, ayon sa Office of the President (OP).
Layon ng programa na mataguyod ang paggamit ng tubig ng hindi nakakaapekto sa ecosystem.
“This program is an approach to promote the coordinated development and management of water, land and related resources to maximize economic and social welfare without compromising our ecosystem,” ani Pangulong Marcos Jr.
Nakapaloob sa programa ang integrated management of water resources at wastewater sa pamamagitan ng komprehensibong pagpa-plano, environmental management, at pollution control.
Isinasalang-alang din sa programa ang climate change.
