COVID-19 daily positivity rate sa NCR, bumaba – OCTA

Bumaba ang daily positivity rate ng COVID-19 sa National Capital Region (NCR) sa unang linggo ng Agosto, ayon sa independent monitoring group na OCTA Research.

Ayon kay OCTA Research fellow Dr. Guido David, bumaba sa 16.1 porsyento ang seven-day positivity rate sa Metro Manila hanggang Agosto 14. Mas mababa ito kumpara sa 17.3 porsyento noong Agosto 7.

Bumaba rin ang one-week growth rate ng mga kaso ng nakahahawang sakit sa NCR sa -7 porsyento. Nasa 1.13 naman ang reproduction number sa Metro Manila hanggang Agosto 12.

Samantala, nasa 37 porsyento ang healthcare utilization sa Metro Manila habang 32 porsyento ang ICU occupancy hanggang Agosto 14.

Gayunman, nananatili sa moderate risk level ang NCR.

Ani David, “The wave is not yet over.”

“While cases may have already peaked in the NCR, the trends will need to hold, as trends are still reversilble,” giit pa nito.
