Mula sa 17.5% bumaba na sa 16.4% ang weekly COVID 19 positivity rate sa Metro Manila hanggang noong Agosto 6.
Ito ang ibinahagi ni OCTA Research fellow Guido David.
“This is the first time in the current wave the weekly positivity decreased and it gives us optimism that cases in the NCR may have already peaked,” ani Guido.
Una nang sinabi ni Guido noong nakaraang linggo na maaring umabot na sa ‘peak’ ang kaso sa Metro Manila ngunit kailangan na magpatuloy ang mga nairerehistrong datos upang masabi na pababa na talaga ang bilang ng mga kaso.
Noong Hulyo, inisip ng OCTA Research na umabot na sa ‘peak’ ang kaso ngunit humaba ito diumano bunga ng mababang ‘booster uptake.’
