Halaga ng pinsala sa road infrastructure dahil sa Abra quake, umabot sa P396.6-M
Umabot sa P396.58 milyon ang inisyal na halaga ng pinsala sa mga kalsada sa tulay matapos ang magnitude 7 na lindol sa Northern Luzon.
Batay ito sa nakalap na datos ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) hanggang 6:00, Biyernes ng umaga (Hulyo 29).
Ayon kay DPWH Secretary Manuel Bonoan, nasa nasabing halaga, P104.53 milyon ang halaga ng pinsala sa national roads at P292.05 milyon sa national bridges sa Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), Regions 1 at 2.
Sa ngayon, limang road sections pa sa CAR at Region 1 ang hindi pa rin maaring daanan ng mga motorista dahil nagpapatuloy pa ang clearing operations ng DPWH Quick Response Teams.
Kabilang dito ang mga sumusunod:
1. Lubuagan-Batong Buhay Road K0463+700, K0464+000 sections sa Puapo, Dangtalan, Pasil at K0464+600, K0464+700, K0464+800 sections sa Colong, Lower Uma, Lubuagan, sa Kalinga Province (dahil sa landslide at rock collapse)
2. Baguio – Bontoc Road K0347+090 – K0347+180, and K0347+280 – K0347+340 Mt. Data Cliff, Bauko, Mt. Province (dahil sa soil collapse)
3. Tagudin – Cervantes Road K0350+950, at K0353+100 section sa Ilocos Sur (dahil sa landslide at rockslide);
4. Jct. Santiago-Banayoyo-Lidlidda-San Emilio-Quirino Road K0393+000 Brgy. Cayos, Quirino, Ilocos Sur (dahil sa landslide at rockslide)
5. Cervantes-Aluling-Bontoc Road K0387+(-950), Brgy. Aluling, Cervantes, Ilocos Sur (dahil sa landslide at rockslide)
Target ng DPWH na muling buksan ang mga nabanggit na kalsada sa 5:00, Sabado ng hapon (Hulyo 30).
