Pasok sa finals ng World Athletics Championships ang Filipino pole vaulter at Olympian na si EJ Obiena.

Ginanap ang Word Athletics Championships sa Hayward Field, Eugene, Oregon, Amerika ngayong araw, July 23.

Kabilang si Obiena sa top 12 performers matapos makapagtala  ng 5.75 meters.

Sa Lunes, July 25, nakatakda ang final round ng World Athletic Championships.

Si Obiena ang bukod tanging Asian na nakapag-qualify sa finals.
