Aabot sa 1.3 milyong Filipino na miyembro ng Pantawid Pamilya Pilipino Program ang hindi na ikinukunsiderang mahirap.
Ayon kay Press Secretary Trxie Angeles, base ito sa ulat ni Social Welfare Secretary Erwin Tulfo kay Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. sa Cabinet meeting kanina, July 19 sa Malakanyang.
Nasa P15 bilyon pondo ang nakalaan para sa 1.3 milyong pamilya.
“Of note is Secretary Erwin Tulfo’s declaration that in the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino program at least 1.3 million beneficiaries out of 4.4 are no longer considered “poor” as a qualification for the 4Ps benefits. This frees up P15 billion for other qualified persons to replace them and now be included in the said program,” pahayag ni Angeles.
Samantala, sinabi ni Angeles na iprinisenta naman ni Vice President at Education Secretary Sara Duterte ang Priority Programs and Projects for Basic Education.
