PCSO, naglabas ng P175.26-M halaga ng medical assistance

Nagbigay ang Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) ng higit P175.26 milyong medical assistance sa buong buwan ng Hunyo.

Sa pamamagitan ng Medical Access Program ng ahensiya, inilabas ang tulong-pinansiyal sa 22,539 benepisyaryo.

Sa Metro Manila, P40.9 milyon ang naibigay sa 2,737 benepisyaryo at P75.6 milyon naman sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng Luzon.

Sa Visayas, P31.4 milyon naman ang inilaan para sa 4,518 indibiduwal at P27 milyon sa 4,330 na taga-Mindanao.

Layon ng programa na makapagbigay ng medical assistance sa mga mahihirap na Filipino, partikular na sa kanilang pagkaka-ospital, dialysis, chemotherapy at post-transplant medicines.
