Target ng Bangladesh na maglagak ng pagnenegosyo sa pharmaceutical industry sa bansa.

Sa courtesy call ni His Excellency Borhan Uddin kay incoming President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. sa Mandaluyong City, sinabi nito na target ng kanilang hanay na paiigtingin ang ugnayan sa bansa sa larangan ng pagawa ng gamot.

“We have a very booming pharmaceutical sector in Bangladesh. He will be happy to know that we export our pharmaceuticals to more than 140 countries around the globe, including USA and European Union countries. So, we are hoping to enhance our cooperation in this sector also. And maybe there will be some investment from Bangladesh in the Philippines in this sector,” pahayag ni Uddin.

Sa ngayon, gumagawa na ang Bangladesh ng gamot na remdesivir kontra COVID-19.

Saad ni Uddin:

Bukod sa pharmaceutical industry, natalakay din nina Marcos at Uddin ang usapin sa pagpapaigting sa kooperasyon sa sektor ng agrikultura, ceramic industries, glass fiber industries, jute at jute goods industries, gardeners industries, at iba pa.

Natalakay din ng dalawa ang kooperasyon sa regional at international level.
