National Artist Award tatanggapin ni Nora Aunor kay Pangulong Duterte
Ngayon araw igagawad sa Malakanyang ni Pangulong Duterte ang National Artist Award kay Nora Aunor.
Bukod sa tinaguriang Superstar, na Nora Villamayor sa tunay na buhay, tatanggapin din ni screenwriter-novelist Ricky Lee mula kay Pangulong Duterte ang National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts.
Ibibigay ang katulad na parangal sa namayapang direktor na si Marilou-Diaz-Abaya.
Gagawaran din ng natatanging parangal sina choreographer Agnes Locsin bilang National Artist for Dance; pioneering couturier Salvacion Lim-Higgins para sa Design (Fashion); literary critic Gemino Abad para sa Literature; soprano Fides Cuyugan-Asensio para sa Music at stage director at actor na si Tony Mabesa para sa Theater.
Kasunod nito, pangungunahan naman ni Pangulong Duterte ang signing ceremony ng Loan Agreement para sa South Commuter Railway Project (SCRP).
Susundan naman ito ng presentation ng 2nd Progress Report ng National Government- Bangsamoro Government Intergovernmental Relations Body.
