LOOK: Listahan ng mga kumandidato sa 2022 elections na nakapagpasa ng SOCE sa Comelec
Inilabas ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) ang listahan ng mga kumandidato at partido sa nagdaang 2022 National and Local Elections na nakapagpasa ng Statement of Contributions and Expenditures (SOCE).
Ayon kay Comelec Education and Information Department Director James Jimenez, mayorya sa mga national candidate ang umabot sa deadline ng pagsusumite ng SOCE noong Miyerkules, Hunyo 8.
Pinal na ang itinakdang deadline, maliban sa mga nanalong kandidato at party-list group.
Binibigyan aniya ang mga nanalong kandidato at party-list group ng anim na buwan mula nang maiproklama para makapagpasa ng SOCE.
“Until such time that they have complied, they are barred from assuming office. If their political party likewise fails to comply, the same prohibition applies,” saad pa ni Jimenez.
Pagmumultahin ang mga kandidatong hindi makakapaghain ng SOCE, nanalo man o hindi sa halalan.
“In case of a second or subsequent failure to submit SOCE, a higher fine will be imposed to the candidate or party, as well as perpetual disqualification to hold public office,” ayon pa kay Jimenez.
