President-elect Bongbong Marcos Jr. hiningi ang dasal ng sambayanan
Matapos maiproklama bilang bagong mamumuno sa bansa, hiningi ni President-elect Bongbong Marcos Jr., ang dasal ng buong sambayanan.
“So I ask you all, pray for me, wish me well. I want to do well because when a president does well, the country does well. And I want to do well for this country,” sabi nito matapos ang proklamasyon sa kanila ni Vice President-elect Sara Duterte sa Batasan.
Nagbigay din ng pahayag si Marcos ukol sa mga nakuhang boto, na itinuturing na pinakamalaki sa kasaysayan ng Pilipinas.
“I am humbled because for anyone in public service or in public life, the most valuable thing you may receive from a fellow citizen is their vote. Because embedded in that vote are their hopes and their aspirations for the future,” sabi pa ng 64-anyos na bagong pangulo.
Dagdag pa nito, ang higit 31 milyong boto na kanyang nakuha ay pagpapahayag ng tiwala sa kanya at ito pagdidiin niya ay napakahalaga para sa kanya.
“And so for that I thank our people. Beyond that, I promise you that we may not be perfect but we will always strive to perfection,” sambit pa nito.
