Nagpaabot ng pagbati ang Palasyo ng Malakanyang sa atletang si Mary Francine Padios.
Ito ay matapos makasungkit si Padios ng unang gintong medalya para sa Pilipinas sa 31st SEA Games na ginaganap sa Vietnam.
Ayon kay acting Presidential spokesman Martin Andanar, nakuha ni Padios ang ginto sa Pencak Silat Women’s Seni (Artistic) Tunggal single event.

“Good luck to the rest of our athletes in Team Philippines. Mabuhay ang atletang Pinoy sa Hanoi,” pahayag ni Andanar.
