Listahan ng itatalagang bagong Chief PNP hawak na ni Pangulong Duterte
Ibinahagi ni Interior Secretary Eduardo Año na naisumite na niya sa Malakanyang ang listahan ng mga pangalan na maaring pumalit kay PNP Chief Dionard Carlos.
Magreretiro si Carlos sa Mayo 8, isang araw bago ang eleksyon, kasabay nang pagdiriwang ng kanyang ika-56 kaarawan.
“I have already submitted my recommendation on Tuesday to the President alongside with the Napolcom Resolution 2022-0236,” sabi ni Año.
Isinumite niya aniya ang pangalan ng dalawang senior police officials na maaring ipalit ni Pangulong Duterte kay Carlos.
Pag-amin ng kalihim may posibilidad pa rin mapalawig ang termino ni Carlos at ito naman ay nasa diskresyon ni Pangulong Duterte.
Una nang ibinahagi ni Carlos na nakapaghanda na sila para maging maayos at mapayapa ang eleksyon sa Mayo 9.
“We made sure that the PNO will perform professionally for a peaceful election which means people will be able to come out to vote, their votes not bought, without any fear and on their free will,” sabi naman ni Carlos.
