Sinapak na traffic enforcer tutulungan ng MMDA

Hindi pababayaan ng Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) ang kanilang traffic enforcer na sinaktan ng isang motorista sa Pasig City.

 

Sinabi ni MMDA Chairman Romando Artes bibigyan nila ng legal assistance ang enforcer na si Muslimin Hapi sa pagsasampa ng mga kaso laban kay Jeric Baylen.

 

“The MMDA doesn’t condone road rage regardless if it is from our ranks or the motoring public. We want to remind the motorists, especially those who were apprehended, that they have the right to file a protest to contest their violation through our Traffic Adjudication Board. All the complaints will be accorded due process,” sabi ni Artes.

 

Noong nakaraang Biyernes ng gabi, sinita ni Hapi si Baylen  sa Meralco Avenue, Barangay Kapitolyo at binigyan ng ordinnance violation receipt (OVR) dahil sa reckless driving.

 

Sa sinumpaang salaysay ni Hapi, sinabi nito na pabalik na siya sa puwesto nang sundan siya ni Baylen at nagkaroon sila ng diskusyon.

 

Kasunod nito ay bigla na lamang siyang sinuntok ng motorista sa mukha.

 

Dinala naman ni Hapi si Baylen sa istasyon ng pulisya at inireklamo ng direct assault.
