All-time low na kaso ng COVID-19, naitala sa QC

Nakapagtala ang Quezon City ng all-time low na kaso ng COVID-19.

Ito ay matapos makapagtala ang Quezon City ng 151 na kaso lamang ng COVID-19.

Ayon kay Dr. Rolly Cruz, head ng City Epidemiology and Disease Surveillance Unit (CESU), walang naitala na bago kaso ng pagkasawi dahil sa naturang virus.

Nasa 16 na average na bagong kaso na lamang ang naitatala sa lungsod kada araw.

Sa 142 barangays sa lungsod, 53 na barangays o 37-percent zero active cases sa nakalipas na dalawang linggo.

“The last time we recorded the lowest number of active cases was in December 2021, with 165 cases. Then it went up again due to the Omicron variant,” pahayag ni Cruz.

Sinabi naman ni Mayor Joy Belmonte na magandang balita ito.

“This is a welcome development for us in the city, and we want to thank every QCitizen for your sense of responsibility which made this possible,” pahayag ni Belmonte.

Pinapayuhan ni Belmonte ang mga wala pang bakuna na magtungo na sa pinakamalapit na barangay health center at magpabakuna na o mag-register online sa pamamagitan ng https://qceservices.quezoncity.gov.ph/qcvaxeasy.

Sa pinakahuling talaan sa Quezon City, nasa 5.57 milyong doses ng COVID-19 vaccines na ang naiturok. Sa naturang bilang, 2.56 milyon sa adults at minors ang nabigyan ng first dose habang nasa 2.4 milyon ang fully vaccinated na.
