Vote buying pinatutukan ni Sen. Leila de Lima sa Comelec
Sinabi ni reelectionist Senator Leila de Lima na dapat ay agad iniimbestigahan ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) ang mga maaring paglabag sa election laws, partikular na ang vote buying.
Aniya nararapat lamang na magpursigeng husto ang Comelec para matiyak na magiging malinis at patas ang papalapit na eleksyon.
Giit ni de Lima magagawa ng Comelec na mag-imbestiga at magsakdal ng mga lalabag sa mga batas pang-eleksyon.
“With or without complaint, Comelec must act promptly and decisively on reports of vote-buying with the view of prosecuting those involved. Hindi puwedeng magbulag-bulagan lang ang Comelec sa lantarang mga paglabag sa batas at pangmamaliit sa kanilang mandato,” sabi pa ng senadora.
Magugunita, kamakailan namahagi ng cash prizes si Cavite Gov. Jonvic Remulla sa dance contest sa campaign rally ng tambalang Bongbong Marcos – Sara Duterte.
Diin nito, hindi dapat kinukunsinti ang vote-buying.
