Bilang ng returning overseas Filipinos na naserbisyuhan ng One-Stop Shop, umabot na sa higit 2-M

Wala pa ring patid ang pagbibigay ng One-Stop Shop (OSS) ng mga kinakailangang tulong sa mga returning overseas Filipinos sa iba’t ibang paliparan sa bansa.

Base sa datos ng Department of Transportation (DOTr) hanggang March 16, 2022, umabot na sa 2,301,055 ang bilang ng naserbisyuhan ng OSS simula noong April 23, 2022.

Sa nasabing bilang, 578,945 returning overseas Filipinos ang naserbisyuhan sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1, 713,420 sa NAIA Terminal 2, 551,938 sa NAIA Terminal 3, 247,163 sa Clark International Airport, habang 209,589 naman sa Mactan-Cebu International Airport.

Nauna nang inihayag ni Transportation Secretary Art Tugade na hindi dapat ihinto ang pag-asiste sa mga kababayan, gaya ng OFWs, dahil ikinokonsidera sila bilang ‘modern day heroes,’ kasama ang healthworkers at iba pang frontliners na nagsasakripisyo sa gitna ng pandemya.
