Quezon City, bumaba na sa ‘very low risk’ status sa COVID-19 – OCTA

Bumaba na sa ‘very low risk’ classification sa COVID-19 ang Quezon City, ayon sa OCTA Research group.

Ayon kay OCTA Research fellow Dr. Guido David, base sa nakalap na local data, nakakapagtala ng 25 na bagong kaso ng nakahahawang sakit sa lungsod kada araw simula March 10 hanggang 16, 2022.

Dahil dito, bumaba ang average daily attack rate (ADAR) sa Quezon City sa 0.79 kada 100,000 katao kada araw.

Nanatili naman sa 0.23 ang reproduction number sa naturang lungsod, habang -22 porsyento ang one-week growth rate.

“On average, the number of new cases in Quezon City has been around 16 percent of NCR numbers. This projects to a 7-day average of around 154 cases in the NCR,” ani David.

Sa ngayon, nasa ‘low risk’ status pa rin ang Metro Manila na may 1.09 na ADAR.

Ngunit ani David, malapit nang maabot ang ‘very low risk’ oras na bumaba sa 1 ang ADAR sa Quezon City.
