Sen. Imee Marcos naalarma sa ‘security breaches’ sa paghahanda sa May 9 elections

Labis na ikinagulat ni Senator Imee Marcos ang mga pagbubunyag ukol sa paghahanda sa papalapit na eleksyon.

 

Sa pagdinig ng pinamumunuan niyang Senate Committee on Electoral Reforms tumindi ang pangamba ng pagkakaroon ng dayaan sa eleksyon.

 

Isa mga ikinabigla ni Marcos ay ang kawalan na ng observers na magbabantay sana sa configuration ng SD cards sa technical hub sa Santa Rosa City sa Laguna.

 

“The Comelec has already configured all the SD cards for Mindanao to Region 4, in total absence of witness. Only the SD cards for the three regions remain to be processed,” sabi ni Marcos.

 

Pinuna din niya ang ang pag-imprenta ng mga balota ng National Printing Office (NPO) ng walang monitoring at aniya may batas na nalalabag.

 

“All this in deep, dark secrecy? There’s a law being violated here. The right of suffrage cannot be compromised by the unwillingness or sense of inconvenience on the part of officialdom to allow witnesses at every juncture of the (electoral) process,” giit nito.

 

Nagpatawag pa ng executive session si Marcos at panibagong pagdinig sa susunod na linggo para malinawan ang mga alegasyon ng ‘data security breaches’ na maaring makompromiso ang bilangan ng boto sa Mayo 9.
