Tatlong Indian nationals, naaresto sa Davao

Nahuli ng mga tauhan ng Bureau of Immigration (BI) ang tatlong Indian nationals sa magkakahiwalay na operasyon sa Davao City.

Naaresto ng BI Mindanao Intelligence Task Group (MITG) ang 35-anyos na si Tejpal Singh noong Huwebes, sa bisa ng Mission Order na inilabas ni Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morente matapos makumpirma ang mga ulat ukol sa pagiging overstaying nito sa bansa nang dalawang taon.

Sinabi ni BI MITG head Melody Gonzales na lumabas din sa imbestigasyon na nagtatrabaho si Singh bilang tagaluto sa isang sikat na Indian restaurant sa bahagi ng Circumferential Road.

Sa parallel operation, nahuli rin ng MITG operatives sina Prakashkumar Vishnubai Patel, 31-anyos, at Manojkumar Ranchhodbai Patel, 51-anyos, sa kalapit na restaurant kasunod ng Mission Order laban sa kanila.

Inaresto si Prakashkumar dahil sa pagiging overstaying at pagtatrabaho nang walang work visa o permit.

Napag-alaman namang nagtatrabaho si Manojkumar sa isang establisyemento, na iba sa nakalahad sa kaniyang visa.

“These aliens will be deported for violating the Philippine Immigration Act,” pahayag ni Morente.

Dagdag nito, “Those who abuse the hospitality of the Filipino people and work here without proper documentation will be deported and blacklisted.”

Pansamantalang ikinulong ang tatlong dayuhan sa BI Davao holding facility habang hinihintay ang deportation proceedings.
