Pangangampaniya ng local candidates, depende sa Alert Level system

Sa simula ng pangangampaniya ng mga lokal na kandidato sa darating na Marso 25, paiiralin ang mga alintuntunin na nakasaad sa Alert Level system.

Sinabi ni Interior Secretary Eduardo Año na ang Resolution 10732 ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) ay nakabase sa naturang sistema.

“In case of areas under Alert Level 1, the capacity will be limited to 70 percent both for indoors and outdoors campaign activities,” sabi ni Año.

Nilinaw naman ng kalihim na pinag-uusapan pa ng Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) ang suhestiyon na dapat ay mga bakunado lamang ng proteksyon sa COVID-19 ang papayagan na makibahagi sa election campaign activities.

Noon pang Pebrero 8, nagsimula ang pangangampaniya ng mga kandidato sa mga pambansang posisyon, kabilang na ang partylist groups.
