Hindi pinayagan sa Comelec e-rally, Sen. Leila de Lima nadismaya

Labis-labis na nadismaya si reelectionist Senator Leila de Lima nang tanggihan ng korte sa Muntinlupa City ang kanyang hiling na makabahagi sa e-rally ng Commission on Elections (COMELEC).

 

Sinabi nito, inalisan siya ng karapatan ng korte na maipahayag niya ang kanyang plataporma.

 

“I wasn’t asking for special treatment, hence, did not ask for permission to leave the premises of the PNP Custodial Center. Still, the court  junked my motion to allow participation in COMELEC’s e-rally thfrough videoconferencing,” diin ni de Lima.

 

Dagdag  pa nito ang tanging nais lamang niya ay mabigyan ng oportunidad  na malayang maipahayag ang kanyang plataporma sa mga botante.

 

Noong Pebrero 22, naghain ng Very Urgent Motion si de Lima sa korte para makabahagi sa e-rally.

 

Makalipas ang tatlong araw, naglabas ng desisyon ang Muntinlupa City RTC Branch 204 at tinanggihan ang nais ni de Lima sa katuwiran na dahil nakakulong siya hindi maaring magawa niya ang nagagawa ng ibang kandidato.
