BI, nagpaalala sa airline companies na tiyaking kumpleto ang dokumento ng mga dayuhang bibiyahe sa Pilipinas
Nagpaalala ang Bureau of Immigration (BI) sa mga airline company na siguraduhing kumpleto ang mga dokumento ng mga dayuhang bibiyahe patungo sa Pilipinas.
Ayon kay BI Commissioner Jaime Morente, responsibilidad ng mga airline na tanging ang mga ‘eligible’ na dayuhan lamang ang makakapasok ng bansa, kasunod ng resolusyon ng the Inter-Agency Task Force on the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID).
Sa ngayon, pwedeng makabiyahe sa Pilipinas ang mga fully vaccinated na dayuha, depende sa maipiprisintang mga dokumento.
Ani Atty. Carlos Capulong, hepe ng BI Port Operations, kailangang tiyakin ng mga airline company na sumusunod ang kanilang mga pasahero sa requirements na itinakda ng gobyerno.
Nagpasalamat naman si Capulong sa airline companies para sa kooperasyon sa pagpapatupad ng travel restrictions.
“This is a joint effort by different government agencies, as well as the airlines who are the first to evaluate documents presented by travelers,” ani Capulong at dagdag nito, “The airlines have been very helpful and cooperative with these policies that we are duty-bound to impose.”
Ayon sa BI, pasasakayin ng susunod na available flight pabalik ng pinanggalingang bansa ang mga dayuhang hindi papayagang makapasok sa Pilipinas.
Magmumultahin at paparusahan din ang airline companies na papayang makapasok ng bansa ang improperly documented aliens.
