Sa edad na 76, pumanaw na ang beteranong broadcaster na si Ricardo “Dong” Puno, Jr. nitong Martes, February 15.

Kinumpirma ito ng pamilya nito.

Nakilala si Puno sa kaniyang public affairs programs.

Naging Senior Vice President for News and Current Affairs ng ABS-CBN ang batikang mamamahayag.

Nagsilbi rin si Puno bilang Press Secretary sa administrasyon ni dating Pangulong Joseph “Erap” Estrada.

Si Puno ay anak ni dating Justice Minister at Court of Appeals Associate Justice Ricardo Puno Sr. at kapatid ni dating Interior Secretary Ronaldo “Ronnie” Puno.
