NCR, maaring bumaba sa ‘low risk’ classification sa Marso – OCTA
Inihayag ng independent analytics group na OCTA Research na maaring bumaba sa ‘low risk’ classification sa COVID-19 ang National Capital Region (NCR) sa buwan ng Marso.
Ayon kay OCTA Research fellow Guido David, simula noong February 8, umaabot lang sa 600 ang average reported cases sa NCR kada araw.
“With daily numbers beating the January 20 projections, we now look at the revised January 24 projections, which has been close to actuals over the past few days,” saad nito sa Twitter.
Nakikita aniya sa projection ang pagbaba ng halos 200 na bagong kaso ng nakahahawang sakit sa pagtatapos ng Pebrero.
Dagdag nito, “The magic number to achieve very low risk classfication is 140 new cases per day, which seems possible by March.”
Sa ngayon, nasa 6.55 kada 100,000 ang average daily attack rate ng NCR, 8.8 porsyento ang positivity rate, at 28.6 porsyento ang healthcare utilization rate.
Bumaba rin sa 30.8 porsyento ang ICU utilization sa Metro Manila.
Payo ni David, patuloy na sundin ang health protocols upang maabot ang naturang projection.
Matatandaang bumaba sa ‘low risk’ category ang Metro Manila noong Disyembre ng taong 2021 bago magkaroon ng COVID-19 surge dahil sa Omicron variant.
