Bilang ng mga walang trabahong Filipino, umakyat sa 3.27-M – PSA
Bahagyang tumaas ang bilang ng mga Filipino na walang trabaho, ayon sa Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).
Sinabi ng PSA na nasa 6.6 porsyento ang unemployment rate o katumbas ng 3.27 milyong Filipino na walang trabaho sa bansa noong December 2021.
Mas mataas ang nasabing datos kumpara sa 6.5 porsyento o 3.16 milyong napaulat noong November 2021.
Iniulat din ni PSA National Statistician at Civil Registrar General Dennis Mapa na nasa 6.81 milyon ang underemployed na indibiduwal noong December, mas mababa sa 7.62 milyon na datos noong November.
Base sa month-on-month change, nadagdagan ng mga naka-employ na indibiduwal sa agriculture and forestry (1.07 milyon); manufacturing (325,000); human health and social work activities (165,000); transportation and storage (146,000): at administrative and support service activities (127,000).
Pinakamarami namang nabawas na trabaho sa sektor ng fishing and aquaculture.
