Comelec, nagsimula nang mag-deploy ng election equipment para sa 2022 polls
Nagsimula nang mag-deploy ang Commission on Elections (Comelec) ng iba’t ibang election-related equipment, peripherals, forms at supplies na gagamitin sa 2022 National and Local Elections sa May 9.
Nagmumula ang mga kagamitan sa warehouse ng ahensya sa Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
Kabilang sa mga inumpisahan nang ipadala ang vote counting machine external batteries at ballot boxes.
Ipapadala sa iba’t ibang panig ng bansa ang VCN external batteries hanggang March 31, habang ang ballot boxes naman ay hanggang April 10.
Susunod namang ide-deploy ang non-accountable forms at supplies sa mga provincial at city treasurer sa itinuturing na priority areas sa February 16, na magmumula naman sa Comelec warehouse sa Quezon City.
Ipapadala naman ang mga VCM, consolidation and canvassing system (CCS) machine, at transmission equipment sa April 2 hanggang 19.
Ayon pa sa Comelec, ide-deploy naman ang mga official ballot at indelible ink mula sa National Printing Office (NPO) sa mga city at municipal treasurer sa April 20 hanggang May 5.
“Notice has been given to all political parties, political candidates, party-list groups and accredited citizens’ arms of the Commission through the modes mandated by law,” saad ng Comelec.
