11,378 sa 11,790 registered law graduates kumuha ng Bar exam
Hindi lahat ng 11,790 law graduates na nagbayad ng kanilang registration fees ang sumulpot sa unang araw ng Bar examinations ngayon taon.
Sinabi ni Supreme Court Associate Justice Marvic Leonen, 11,378 ang kumuha ng Bar exam sa ibat-ibang testing centers sa bansa at ang bilang ay 96.5 porsiyento ng mga nagparehistro.
“The 96.5 percent turnout is a good number specifically because of the pandemic still raging in various parts of the country, as well as, for every normal Bar Exams usually there is a 10 to 15 percent attrition for the first day. In other words, 10-15 will not appear for the first day of the Bar Exams,” ayon kay Leonen.
Hindi naman ito nakapagbigay ng petsa kung kailan mailalabas ang resulta, ngunit sa mga nakalipas na Bar exams, nailalabas ang resulta sa loob ng anim na buwan.
Nabatid na may 115 candidates ang nag-positibo sa COVID 19 antigen test at hindi sila pinayagan na makapasok sa testing centers.
May mga ulat na may mga law graduates na nag-positibo sa swab test.
Sa darating na araw ng Linggo, Pebrero 6, ang ikalawang araw ng eksaminasyon para sa mga nais maging abogado.
