Pag-apruba ni Pangulong Duterte sa pag-release ng P1.1-B na pondo para sa SRA ng health workers, pinuri ng CHR
Pinuri ng Commission on Human Rights (CHR) ang pag-apruba ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa pag-release ng P1.185 bilyong pondo para sa special risk allowance (SRA) ng healthcare workers na hindi pa nakakatanggap nito.
Kinuha ang naturang pondo sa contingent fund ng gobyerno noong nakaraang taon.
“We welcome this gesture of the government that shows recognition and support to our health care workers,” saad nito sa social media.
Kasabay nito, ipinaalala rin ng CHR ang mabilis na pagtugon sa mga isyu ukol sa SRA upang mapataas ang kapakanan at dignidad ng health workers.
Ilan sa mga isyu na napapaulat sa SRA ang pagkakaroon ng delay at hindi patas na pagbibigay nito.
“Through timely support and just compensation, we can demonstrate concretely how we value their service and sacrifice in this period of crisis.” dagdag ng CHR.
