Umabot na sa 288,577 na tourism workers sa bansa ang nabakunahan kontra COVID-19.
Sa Laging Handa Public Briefing, sinabi ni Tourism Undersecretary Woodrow Maquiling Jr., nangangahulugan ito ng 89 porsyento sa target na 329,000 tourism workers.
Pinakamaraming nabakunahan aniya ang tourism workers sa Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) at Metro Manila.
Nasa 13,000 o 55 porsyento ng hotel workers naman aniya ang nakatangngap na ng booster shots.
“But the thing is, with Omicron right now, we are really pushing with the booster shots for our tourism workers,” pahayag ni Maquiling.
