Umano’y hacking incident sa servers ng Comelec, fake news – Guanzon
Itinanggi ni Commission on Elections (Comelec) Commissioner Rowena Guanzon ang lumabas na ulat ukol sa umano’y hacking incident sa servers ng poll body.
“FAKE NEWS: Comelec server was hacked, not true. Manila Bulletin editor must verify,” saad sa Twitter post ni Guanzon.
Noong Lunes, January 10, iniulat ng Manila Bulletin na na-hack ang servers ng Comelec at na-download ang mga sensitibong file, kabilang ang usernames at personal identification numbers (PIN) ng vote-counting machines.
“How can they hack our servers when we don’t have PINs yet? ITD [Information and Technology Department] Director told me we don’t have PINs yet,” punto pa ni Guanzon.
Nauna nang sinabi ni Comelec Spokesperson James Jimenez na bineberipika pa ang naturang ulat.
Maglalabas aniya ang poll body ng final report ukol sa naturang insidente ngayong linggo.
