Vaccination sites sa QC dinagdagan pa; Mega vaccination sites, bubuksan ulit
Lalo pang pinaigting ng Quezon City government ang pagbabakuna kontra COVID-19.
Ayon kay Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, ginawa ito ng pamahalaang lungsod sa gitna ng muling pagtaas ng kaso ng COVID-19 dahil sa Omicron variant.
Ayon kay Belmonte, magdadagdag ang kanilang hanay ng vaccination sites sa anim na distrito.
Ito ay para mabakunahan na ang mga hindi pa bakunado at mabigyan ng booster shots ang mga fully vaccinated na.
Sa kabuuan, nasa 36 ang regular vaccination sites, 21 ang special o pop-up sites, at 16 mall o establishment vaccination sites.
Mayroon din aniyang drive-through vaccination sites at house-to-house vaccination para sa mga bedridden.
“We will be actively looking for those who are still unvaccinated and encourage them to get their COVID-19 vaccine shots immediately so they can acquire protection against the virus, which has been raging again since the latter part of last month. This is on top of our duty to assist COVID-19 confirmed persons by treating them in our Hope facilities or through our home care program, and to trace close-contact individuals,” pahayag ni Belmonte.
Ayon kay Belmonte, dahil suspendido ang face-to-face classes, gagamitin ang mga eskwelahan bilang dagdag vaccination sites.
Maglalagay din aniya ang lungsod ng permanent vaccination sa malls, events venues, at iba pang eligible sites.
Bubuksan din aniya ang Mega Vaccination Site, Smart Araneta Coliseum sa Sabado, January 15.
