Amerikanong wanted dahil sa stalking, arestado sa Maynila

Naaresto ng mga tauhan ng Bureau of Immigration Fugitive Search Unit (BI FSU) ang isang Amerikanong wanted dahil sa stalking.

Ayon kay BI Commissioner Jaime Morente, nahuli ang 49-anyos na si Joe Miller Grubb III sa bahagi ng Jorge Bocobo Street sa Malate, Manila.

Ipapa-deport aniya ang naturang dayuhan dahil sa pagiging undesirable alien at oras na ilabas ng BI Board of Commissioners ang summary deportation laban dito.

“He will then be included in our blacklist, and perpetually banned from re-entering the country for being an undesirable alien,” dagdag ni Morente.

Ayon naman kay BI-FSU Chief Rendel Ryan Sy, isa nang undocumented alien si Grubb matapos kanselahin ng State Department ang pasaporte nito.

Base sa record, dumating ang dayuhan sa bansa noong August 27, 2021 kung kaya’t limang buwan na itong nagtatago sa kinakaharap na kaso.

“US authorities also said he is on the wanted list of the FBI, and that he is subject of an arrest warrant issued by the US District Court in Western Virginia where he is charged with stalking,” ani Sy.

Sa ngayon, nakakulong si Grubb sa BI Warden Facility sa Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig City habang isinasagawa ang deportation proceedings nito.
