Valenzuela City Mayor Gatchalian, positibo sa COVID-19
Nagpositibo rin sa COVID-19 si Valenzuela City Mayor Rex Gatchalian.
Sa inilabas na pahayag, sinabi ng alkalde na positibo ang lumabas na resulta nang sumailalim siya sa routine work safety testing sa City Hall.
Nakararanas aniya siya ng mild symptoms ng nakahahawang sakit.
“I am manifesting very mild symptoms and will continue to discharge my responsibilities as City Mayor from one of the City’s isolation units where I am currently under mandatory quarantine,” pahayag nito.
Tiniyak naman ni Gatchalian na magpapatuloy pa rin ang mga serbisyo ng Valenzuela City Hall.
“Vice Mayor Lorie Natividad Borja as well as the whole Management Team of City Hall will also be in full force physically running the affairs of the city,” dagdag ng alkalde.
