Patuloy ang pagbibiyahe ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) vessels ng critical supplies sa mga lugar na sinalanta ng bagyong Odette.
Alinsunod sa direktiba ni Transportation Secretary Art Tugade, ipinag-utos ni PCG Commandant Leopoldo Laroya sa commanding officers ng Coast Guard vessels na tiyakin ang ligtas at mabilis na pagbiyahe ng DOH hospital beds sa Roxas, Palawan.
Ipinadala rin ang road clearing teams ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) at communications teams ng Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) sa Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.
Noong December 28, nakipagtulungan ang ahensya kay Energy Undersecretary Alexander Lopez para matugunan ang kakulangan sa suplay ng gasolina sa Cebu at Bohol sa pamamagitan ng pagdadala ng PCG para sa rehabilitasyon ng mga apektadong pamilya.
Sa araw ng Miyerkules, December 29, hindi muna pinabiyahe ang BRP Cape Engaño (MRRV-4411) at BRP Bojeador (AE-46) sa Puerto Princesa City dahil sa sama ng panahon.
Sinabi ng PCG na agad ipagpapatuloy ang relief transport missions sa Roxas, Palawan oras na maging maayos ang lagay ng panahon.
Sa pamamagitan naman ng PCG Task Force Kalinga, tuloy din ang disaster response operations at relief transport missions sa Visayas and Mindanao, kahit nasa gitna ng holiday season.
