Bilang ng na-rescue ng PCG dahil sa #OdettePH, higit 1,000
Kasunod ng pananalasa ng Bagyong Odette, nasagip ng mga tauhan ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) ang 1,032 apektadong residente at nailikas ang halos 12,000 katao sa Northeastern Mindanao, Northern Mindanao, Central Visayas, Western Visayas, Eastern Visayas, at Palawan.
Rumesponde rin ang ahensya sa 115 maritime incidents, kung saan 90 ang napaulat sa Central Visayas.
Karamihan sa mga napaulat na maritime incidents ay sumadsad at lumubog na bangka.
Ilang bangka rin ang napaulat na nawawala bunsod ng sama ng panahon.
Sa ngayon, nakatutok ang PCG sa malawakang humanitarian assistance at disaster response operations sa pamamagitan ng relief transport operations at ferry missions.
