Higit 6,700 pasahero sa mga pantalan, stranded pa rin dahil sa #OdettePH

Patuloy na binabantayan ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) ang mga stranded na pasahero sa mga pantalan dahil sa Bagyong Odette.

Sa maritime safety advisory hanggang 12:00, Biyernes ng tanghali (December 17), stranded ang 6,778 pasahero, drivers at cargo helpers sa mga pantalan sa Bicol, Central Visayas, North Eastern Mindabao, Eastern Visayas, Western Visayas at Southern Tagalog.

Maliban dito, stranded din ang 3,221 rolling cargoes, 86 vessels at apat na bangka.

Ayon sa PCG, nakararanas ng light to moderate sea condition sa Southern Tagalog at Western Visayas, moderate to rough sea condition naman ang nararanasan sa Bicol at Central Visayas, habang rough condition sa Eastern Visayas at North Eastern Mindanao.

Patuloy naman ang 24/7 nationwide monitoring ng PCG Operations Center para sa istriktong implementasyon ng guidelines sa galaw ng mga sasakyang-pandagat.

Samantala, inanunsiyo ng PCG na balik na sa normal ang lahat ng biyahe mula Matnog Port patungong Northern Samar, maliban sa Bogo, Cebu route simula 11:00, Biyernes ng umaga.
