DepEd officials, teachers pinaalahanan sa electioneering at partisan politics
Pinagbilinan ng Department of Education (DepEd) ang kanilang mga opisyal, teaching and non teaching personnel na huwag sumawsaw sa politika lalo na ngayon nalalapit na ang eleksyon.
Paalala ng DepEd, nakasaad sa Saligang Batas, gayundin sa regulasyon ng Civil Service Commission at Comelec, ang mga opisyal at kawani ng gobyerno ay hindi maaring masangkot sa electioneering at partisan political activity.
Sa inilabas na pahayag ng kagawaran, nakalista sa Department Order No. 48 series of 2018, gayundin sa resolusyon ng CSC ang mga ipinagbabawal na gawain.
“Guided by these policies, we call on our personnel and stakeholders to champion a clean, safe, and fair elections in 2022, for our children and for the future of this nation,” ayon pa sa naturang pahayag.
Kinakailangan, ayon pa sa DepEd, hindi masangkot ang kanilang mga opisyal at tauhan sa pulitika.
