Hirit na COVID 19 booster shots ng pribadong sektor dapat ibigay – Sen. Sonny Angara
Sinuportahan ni Senator Sonny Angara ang hiling ng pribadong sektor na mabahagihan sila ng COVID 19 vaccines para sa third dose ng kanilang mga empleado.
Sa palagay ni Angara may sapat na suplay ng COVID 19 vaccines sa bansa para mabigyan na rin ng booster shots ang mga manggagawa sa pribadong sektor.
Makatuwiran naman, ayon sa nagsulong sa pagpasa ng COVID 19 Vaccination Program Act, ang hiling ng mga pribadong kompaniya at nabanggit pa niya na may mga ulat na may mga bakuna ang malapit ng mag-expire sa ibang lugar.
“The country now has a steady supply of vaccines and the volume will continue to increase over the next few months. The private sector played a huge part in making this happen with its purchases in parallel with the government’s own,” aniya.
Dagdag pa niya ngayon sumisigla na muli ang ekonomiya dahil marami na ang nababakunahan, higit na kailangan ang booster shots.
“A lot of data has already been made available regarding the administration of booster shots to vaccinated individuals. If this will give our workforce greater protection against COVID-19 then this should be considered,” sabi pa ni Angara.
