Sen. Francis Tolentino nagbigay ng 3,200 capsules ng Molnupiravir sa Senate employees
Sa kagustuhan na mabilis gumaling ang mga empleado ng Senado na tinamaan ng COVID 19, nagbigay si Senator Francis Tolentino ng COVID 19 capsule Molnupiravir.
Sa sulat ni Tolentino kay Senate Sec. Myra Marie Villarica, sinabi nito na ang Molnupiravir; “the most appropriate supplemental/additional treatment in this case because studies have shown associations between high SARS-CoV-2 nasopharyngeal ribonucleic acid (RNA) levels and both hospitalization and transmission rates.”
Kabuuang 3,200 Molnupiravir capsules ang naging donasyon ni Tolentino.
Naniniwala ito na makakatulong ang gamot para sa paggaling ng mga tinamaan ng nakakamatay na sakit.
“The drug significantly reduced the risk of hospitalization or death in at risk, non-hospitalized adult patients with mild-to-moderate COVID-19 and it worked equally well against SARS-CoV-2 variants, including delta, gamma and mu,” sabi pa ng senador.
Nagpalabas ang Food and Drug Administration (FDA) ng compassionate special permit (CSP) para sa pagbibigay ng naturang gamot sa COVID 19 patients sa ilang ospital.
Kinakailangan na inumin ito dalawang beses kada araw ng pasyente ng limang araw.
