Anibersaryo ng libing ni yumaong Pangulong Marcos sa Libingan ng mga Bayani, ginunita ng kilos-protesta
Nagkasa ng kilos-protesta ang ilang progresibong grupo kasabay ng ika-limang anibersaryo ng pagpapalibing kay yumaong Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos sa Libingan ng mga Bayani sa Taguig City.
Alas-7:30 ng umaga nanag umarangkada ang motorcade protest mula sa UP Diliman patungo sa Libingan ng mga Bayani.
Sinabi Renato Reyes, secretary-general ng grupong Bayan, ang palihim na pagpapalibing kay Marcos ang unang ‘official act’ ni Pangulong Duterte para makabalik sa kapangyarihan ang pamilyang Marcos.
“Five years after that rushed burial done secretly, with Marcos even given military honors, we are witness to his son Marcos, Jr. at the cusp of the presidency,” pahayag ni Reyes.
Diin pa nito, nakatatawa ang pahayag ni Pangulong Duterte na hindi niya sinusuportahan ang mga Marcos.
“The people will reject a Marcos restoration and a Duterte extension. These politicians are what is wrong in the Philippine political system. They represent the bankruptcy of Philippine ruling class politics. Today we remember November 18 as a day of infamy, with the call “Never again!” pahayag ni Reyes.
