Pormal nang ini-adopt at inindorso ng Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) ni presidential aspirant at dating Senador Bongbong Marcos Jr. si Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte bilang running mate sa 2022 elections.
Inilabas ng PFP ang statement ilang oras matapos maghain ng kandidatura si Duterte sa pagka-bise presidente kapalit ng pambato ng Lakas-CMD na si Lyle Uy.
Dahil dito, tuloy na ang tambalang Marcos-Duterte sa susunod na eleksyon.
“Vice presidential candidate Mayor Sara Duterte Carpio of the Lakas-CMD is hereby adopted by the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) as its candidate for vice president, and hereby indorses her candidacy as the running mate of the PFP’s official candidate for president of the Philippines Senator Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. in the 9 May 2022 national elections,” pahayag ng PFP.
