Budget cut sa DAR land titling project kinuwestiyon ni Sen. Cynthia Villar

Ipinagtaka ni Senator Cynthia Villar ang pagtapyas sa budget para pondohan ang Support for Parcelization of Lands for Individual Titling (SPLIT) Project ng Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR).

Ginawa ni Villar ang pag-kuwestiyon sa deliberasyon sa Senado ng proposed P5.024 trillion 2022 national budget.

Paliwanag ni Villar ang programa ay para mapagbuti pa ang land security at property rights ng mga agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) sa pamamagitan ng mas mabilis na paghahati ng collective certificates of land owenership awards (CCLOA) upang maging individual titles.

Diin ng namumuno sa Committee on Agriculture maganda ang hangarin ng proyekto dahil mabebenipisyuhan nito ang ARBs.

Magagamit aniya ng ARBs ang pag-aari nilang lupa sa pangungutang.

“Because Mr. President, we cannot use the loan for any other purpose. It was meant for that project. So if you cut it, then you are not implementing the project,” diin ng senadora.
