Metro Manila mayors ihihirit sa IATF pagbasura sa mandatory use ng face shield
Irerekomenda ng Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) sa Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) ang pagbawi sa ‘mandatory use’ ng face shield sa Metro Manila.
Ito ang ibinahagi ni MMDA Chairman Benhur Abalos at aniya sa mga itinuturing na ‘critical places’ na lamang kinakailangan ang pagsuot ng face shield.
Ayon pa kay Abalos ito ang napagkasunduan ng 17 alkalde sa Kalakhang Maynila.
Aniya ang face shield ay isusuot lamang sa mga ospital, barangay health centers at pampublikong transportasyon.
Dagdag pa ni Abalos kapag inaprubahan, hindi na kakailanganin pa ang pagsusuot ng face shield sa shopping malls.
Una nang inanunsiyo ng Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) ang ang pagrekomenda na bawiin na ang ilang COVID 19 policy dahil sa pagbaba sa Alert Level 2 ng Metro Manila.
